Data points to growth potential at Oasis

Downhole spectral gamma logging has highlighted the potential for significant high-grade extensions of known mineralisation at the Oasis uranium project in North Queensland.

Greenvale Energy carried out its maiden drill program at the project, about 300km west of Townsville, between July and September 2025.

It released results today from the last six holes contractors Epiroc completed under the spectral gamma logging program.

“These exciting downhole spectral gamma logging results, combined with initial assay results from our recent drilling, reinforce the quality of Oasis as a high-grade uranium project with scale potential,” Greenvale chief executive officer Alex Cheeseman said.

“This includes clear opportunities to extend high-grade mineralisation both along strike and down-plunge and to make significant new discoveries within the broader tenement.”

Headline results from recent drillholes include:

  • 1m at 1277ppm reported equivalent triuranium octoxide (eU3O8) from 113.5m, and 1m at 1608ppm eU3O8 from 115m in drillhole 25GRV008;
  • 1m at 1386ppm eU3O8 from 65.5m in drillhole 25GRV009; and
  • 1.5m at 1426ppm eU3O8 from 86.5m in drillhole 25GRV010.

Mr Cheeseman said the latest results demonstrated the emergence of consistent pattens within different geoscientific datasets.

“These patterns allow us to build a comprehensive, system-style approach to our exploration strategy that we will then apply to regional targets surrounding the Oasis deposit,” he said.

“The design of our pending trenching program has also been determined by these patterns, with each trench strategically positioned over a zone of structural and mineralogical interest.”

The trenching program at Oasis began on October 28 and is expected to run for about 14 days.

Chemical assays from 10 remaining drillholes are being processed by Intertek, with results expected by the end of the year.
