Aircon and culvert tenders open in north Queensland

The Queensland Government is seeking proposals for works at Kirwan State High School providing Stage 4 Chilled Water Air Conditioning Replacement and Related Works. The tender is open to contractors with PQC Level 2 with QA based eligible to work in Townsville with office based in either Far North, Mackay, North West or Northern PQC regions. The tender documentation will only be issued to eligible contractors. Works include: Installation of chilled water air-conditioning including connection to existing reticulation system in a number of buildings. Removal of redundant air conditioning units, including all making good. Building of additional auxiliary plant room. Full commissioning and integration of all new plant and new air conditioning units. The tender requires addressing of non price criteria as part of submission. It should be noted that weight will be given to nominated mechanical sub contractors with relevant experience with campus wide chilled water air conditioning systems. A mandatory site inspection will be held on site at Kirwan SHS on Wednesday 23rd August at midday. The selection criteria will include non price criteria which must be addressed. Tender documentation is available from Monday, 21st August 2017.
